A Little Mexican Celebration

Now, it was time for my hell week. I had four papers to write, and all of them were going to be between five to seven pages. This would mean getting up early, still going to classes, and attempting to write decent essays, all before Friday. Although I had to write my papers, that didn't stop me from having some fun. After all, I realize I only have a short amount of time left here, and I want to make the most of it. So, that was going to make finishing everything even harder. But, I was willing to do it for the experiences I wanted.

All day, I wrote my religion paper. It was actually easier than I thought since I could really get into it. My roomies were struggling in studying too, and we could all tell that we needed a bit of a break. So, I bought some taco shells and seasoning, and my friends supplied beef and vegetables, and we had a fantastic dinner for cinco de mayo. Sara even played a little traditional music to set the mood.

It was nice to just sit around and talk with them instead of being shut up in my room trying to write about the symbolism in the baptism of Jesus. After we were all full, we looked outside and found that there was a rainbow, another thing to lift our spirits from the drag that is college.
