Which is exactly what I did. I got up early and when I arrived, I was put right in with a bunch of girls who were pretending to be stylists in a salon. You can see how well it went for me...
While half the class was in play, half was doing work, and then after an hour they would switch. So, I was really pretty by lunch time. At lunch we talked about how old we were and I tried to learn names. After they ate, Roberta let me read them stories until it was time for them to play outside. They were so well behaved to go outside to show me "the garden". The backyard had a few little push bikes, two slides and a sandbox, but the kids went crazy in the small space. I was pulled in so many different directions to play pretend, but it was incredibly fun. I think they liked me, because they wanted me to come back, which I agreed to.
For the rest of the day, I was just excited about playing with the kids, and couldn't wait to go back the next day.
