Pretending It's Warm Enough For A Beach

We had bought our tickets for the beach ball a while ago, thinking it would be warmer. But, we were just going to have to pretend in the rain. I woke up early to write a little bit more for one of my essays, but then grabbed a lei and headed to the party with the girls.

Ready for "the beach"
The school had bought twenty tons of sand and spread it outside of the student union. There was volleyball and games outside, as well as an outdoor DJ, but it was the kind of DJ where there were special headphones and you could pick the kind of music you wanted to jam to. Inside, there was another DJ, a photo booth, beach themed drinks, and blow up toys all over the place. We got a little bored after a while, so we went home for pizza before coming back to see B*Witched.

Sara and I had fun playing with the photo booth
B*Witched is apparently a famous Irish girl band, and their most popular songs, C'est La Vie and Rollercoaster were huge hits in the very late 90s. The girls and I were in the very front row for their performance, and we were really impressed by how well they still looked and sounded. It was a great show, and the band was so nice about playing along with the crowd, one even put on a grass skirt that was thrown at her.

After the performance, I buckled down and focused on my paper at home, so I could have one last night at The Roost. It was truly a blast and I'm going to miss those nights so much.
