What a Lot of Bologna!

Sara said that she wanted to take a walk with me when I got up in the morning, so that was our first adventure of the morning. We didn't find Tommy, but we did get in a good workout and a few nice pictures.

Not as green as Ireland, but still pretty
When we came back, there was a spectacular buffet for us, and was the nicest breakfast of our trip by far. We enjoyed our cute breakfast and snuck in a few more photos before having to leave our wonderful rooms. If anyone ever goes to Bologna, go to Cherry Cat b&b. Completely worth it.

We found a place to store our bags in the train station, and set out to explore the town. Being Easter Monday, it was more lively than we expected it to be. I really enjoyed being able to discover a new city, especially with Bologna being so small. There was a very interesting fountain in the main square, along with a truly beautiful church (just a heads up: Italy has a lot of those).

Please don't ask me to explain this
because I really don't know how

Italian churches are the coolest

After touring the church, we found a nice, cheap gelato place, where I tried buffalo milk ice cream, and it became one of my new favorite flavors. We ate our ice cream in the sun and enjoyed not having to wear giant coats like we would in Ireland.

Buffalo milk- it's cooler than you know
While we explored the square, we found a little museum with beautiful flowers, and just outside of that, a random well with more flowers. It was all just really pretty, and I got beautiful photos because of it.

Just look at those colors!
We strolled back to the train station and then set out on our way to Florence. I laughed to myself on our way to our hostel, because it was right outside a square that I had spent a lot of time in when I was last in the city. I saw a gelataria that I called my parents in, a church that I had waited in line to see, and it was just funny how it hadn't changed at all. We checked in and then went on a quick walk to find a small dinner.

We stayed up a little to talk and use the internet (it's a blessing when you don't have cell service), but quickly went to bed to be rested to explore the city the next day.
